About Gold Coast Wellbeing Week
About us
Gold Coast Wellbeing Week is an initiative proudly run by the Gold Coast Suicide Prevention Collaborative. Join us for a week of activities promoting wellbeing through connection from 9 – 15 September.
Our Purpose
Gold Coast Wellbeing Week aims to bring together the residents of the Gold Coast to foster connection, community and wellbeing. Through a series of events, we aim to reach out to residents across the city to build a sense of community and belonging.
Who is the Gold Coast Suicide Prevention Collaborative?
The Gold Coast Suicide Prevention Community Collaborative (the Collaborative) was formed at the beginning of 2024 by individuals and organisations committed to reducing the incidence and impact of suicide in the Gold Coast region.
The Collaborative was founded with the common ambition of multiple government and non-government agencies to reduce the impact of suicide in the Gold Coast region. This incorporates reducing the number of people who die by suicide, and improving the service experience for those at risk of suicide and those who care for them.
Our Commitment
The Gold Coast Suicide Prevention Community Collaborative is committed to making Gold Coast Wellbeing Week an inclusive and impactful event. We believe that by connecting people and fostering a sense of belonging, we can help create a more supportive and resilient community.
